Raztec is proud to support the EVolocity electric vehicle programme being run in New Zealand schools. Students design, build and compete in electric vehicles. Raztec are proud to supply the current sensors and through our Chief Technical Officer, Warren Pettigrew, design advice and guidance.
The EVolocity electric vehicle programme addresses three key 21st Century needs.
1. The need for young people, their families and communities to understand and appreciate the merits of electric vehicles.
2. The need to turn more young people onto the joys of engineering to help fill NZ’s engineering skills shortage.
3. The need for all human beings to live more sustainably. EVolocity team members develop real-world skills in mechanical & electrical engineering, electronics, programming and communications, and learn how to work with others in a team.
A great initiative, we look forward to the New Zealand National Finals in November.
